Tidal Prediction Service (TPS) offers
customers bespoke tidal predictions in a range of
different layouts, in either digital or analogue formats,
for the appropriate administrative charge.
Tidal predictions can be provided for Standard and
Secondary Ports. The charges depend upon the file
layout received and whether the format is digital
or analogue, and are applied on a per-port-per-calendar-year
basis.
If you intend to reproduce the data in any way you
must complete an online copyright application, which
is available at http://copyright.ukho.gov.uk.
All information you require regarding copyright and
contact details can be found on this page.
NB: You must purchase an original copy of the predictions
to apply for copyright.

Ordering Procedure
Once you have decided on the formats, ports and years that
you require, please contact the Tidal Section for confirmation
that we can supply your required data and to proceed with
your order. If you are intending to reproduce the data you
will first be asked to apply online for a copyright licence.
The licences are chargeable in some cases and you will be
notified if charges apply. Once a licence is confirmed a
Pro Forma Invoice will be forwarded to you for the cost
of the predictions and any copyright charges. The predictions
are sent out once confirmation of payment and a licence
have been received.

UK customers:
We can accept payment via cheque, drawn on a UK bank made payable to “The UK Hydrographic Office”, and sent to:-

We can accept payment via bankers draft (in pounds sterling and drawn on a UK bank) made payable to “The UK Hydrographic Office”, and sent to the above address.
We can also accept payment via credit card (VISA, MasterCard, Switch & Solo only), for which we require the following details:-
- The card type (e.g. VISA, MasterCard, Switch or Solo)
- The name as printed on the card
- The address to which the card is registered
- The card number
- The valid from and expiry dates
- The card security number (last three digits of the number found on the signature strip)
- If paying by Switch, the card issue number
